Authoring blocks
Share an interactive demo on X
Test a published block or public website and copy a Player Card link.
For a native Chatblocks code block, build and publish it, open it on your canvas,
and choose Test on X in its header. On mobile, open More actions first.
Try the controls in the preview, confirm they work, then copy the X share link.
The link points to that published version, so later edits need a new link.
Anyone with it can open the published demo.
For a website, use the website checker.
It checks framing headers and offers a manual sandbox preview. The website
must allow both Chatblocks and X as frame ancestors.
Paste the share link last in your post without attaching an image or video.
After posting, click Play and test the actual card. X decides whether to show
an interactive card and whether to hide the trailing link. The local preview
is a simulation of its observed sandbox, not a guarantee of X availability.
Native sharing currently supports published code blocks, including WebGL/3D
views and games. It preserves the block’s declared network policy. Stores,
live-data widgets, unpublished or retired blocks, and HTML entry documents
larger than 200 KB are excluded. For embed-format blocks, use their website URL
in the website checker instead.
Browser storage, login, form submission and pointer lock are unavailable or
restricted in the sandbox. Test touch, keyboard and any network-dependent
features on the clients your audience uses before announcing them.
